At PMB -IOD, we are dedicated to providing specialized medical care for workplace injuries. Our expert team ensures that injured employees receive timely assessments, tailored treatments, and rehabilitation support to facilitate a swift recovery and return to work. With extensive experience in occupational health and injury rehabilitation, we assist both employees and employers in navigating workplace injury protocols, ensuring compliance with legal and medical requirements.

General and Specialized consultations

With extensive experience in occupational health and injury on duty (IOD) assessments, Dr. YS Chetty will conduct a clinical evaluation of each patient upon presentation to determine the severity of the injury. Our doctor performs suturing, foreign body removal, wound care, and dressing. If additional specialist care is necessary, referrals and appointment scheduling will be arranged for the patient.

Advanced diagnostic tests

In some cases; patients may require further blood tests or imaging such as X-rays and ultrasounds. Bookings will be done by our helpful staff at the point of request and necessary documentation issued to the patient. We are conveniently located next to a blood lab and across the road from the X-ray department at St Annes Hospital.

Innovative treatments and therapies

Patients will receive the essential prescription medication to facilitate the healing of their injuries as efficiently and promptly as possible. The IOD center features an in-house physiotherapist, Priyen Chengiah, who is integral to the holistic patient management team. Alongside our doctor, they will work together to restore patient functionality and ensure comprehensive injury care.
